One of the most important things about hair extensions is that you have to baby them. When you are brushing your hair, be gentle. Always use a wide tooth comb, always comb or brush hair from the bottom up, small sections at a time. For CURLY hair please detangle it when in water with conditioner. Do not comb it after it is dry, otherwise it will cause tangling and matting.
Without the proper treatment, your hair extensions will get damaged quickly.
Hair Care products. Use good name brand products, Pantene, Dove, etc. Use a good (leave-in) conditioner to keep your hair soft. Don't over do it. Too much conditioner or any other hair care product can cause a build up and tangling. Avoid hair products that contain too much alcohol. Too much Alcohol makes hair dry. Ask your stylist what would be the best products for your hair. Washing

Hair may tangled if general care directions are not followed properly
CURLY HAIR CARE
Curly hair always needs more maintenance than wavy or straight hair, please make sure you can handle this maintenance, or consultant with a professional. Curly hair needs to be wet to keep from tangling frizzing and matting. You will need to purchase an empty spray bottle. Fill bottle with water and add just a little conditioner, maybe teaspoon. Shake and spray everyday. You want curly hair to be moist everyday. Only use SHAMPOO once a month. When shampooing make sure your hair is not bunched up or piled on top of your head… This badly tangles hair. Instead of doing this, gently wash vertically in one direction only. Be sure to use a rather gentle shampoo and don't skimp on the quality. If your extensions are sewn in, you need to treat them like your own.
When Applying Heat please use heat protectant to protect your hair. Straightening your hair on Extreme high heat can cause unrepairable damages. Also use good quality straightening irons and curling rods. We recommend air drying your hair extensions.
Swimming & Exercise
Wash the hair immediately after swimming! When dirt and sweat accumulates, hair mattes, tangles, and becomes unmanageable. Be sure to always wear a swim cap made of latex. Carefully comb out any tangles that may be present starting from the bottom and working your way up. Once the hair has been detangled braid the hair in two braids to ensure that all of the hair is protected and tucked neatly under the cap. Following your dip, be sure to wash your hair immediately to remove any damaging chemical that may have snuck under your cap.
NEVER SLEEP ON WET HAIR. Make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to bed. It is also recommended to wrap your hair together or gently tie it up to prevent tangling.
LACE FRONTAL/ CLOSURE CARE
Brush With Care
Before washing a lace closure/frontal gently remove hair knots an
tangles with your fingers. Then, gently brush through the lace closure/frontal hair with a soft bristle brush or comb it through with a wide tooth comb. Avoid yanking or pulling on the lace closure/frontal, as this may cause hair to fall out or cause hair strands to become loose.
We do NOT recommend bleaching the knots. Bleaching the knots incorrectly will cause lace balding/ Shedding. We are not responsible for lace balding due to bleaching.
